Virginia Chiodini offers this cyanotype or blueprint workshop.

In the workshop, we’ll engrave images on fabric and paper using the cyanotype technique. How?

We’ll sensitize papers and fabrics with photosensitive emulsion, then overlay photographic images of plants, fish, insects, and invertebrates. We’ll experiment with compositions using the different images and/or objects (flowers, threads). We’ll expose them to the sun and then develop them in trays, resulting in images using Prussian blue.

Ideal for artistic exploration without drawing.

No prior knowledge is necessary.
